Monsoon Masters !

Yet again Jon Masters proved to be top of the club TT pile with another PB of 22-18 for the Horsham course.

On a generally still night, most people saw a small improvement in times - before it became very dark and the heavens opened on the later riders.

Good news everyone.

Tim was discharged from hosiptal last night and is now back at home !

I expect he will be putting in an appearance on the website just as soon as he has sorted out a comfortable chair !

If you are planning to visit, give him a quick call first on 07811 116950

A perfect Sunday Club Ride

Some fit looking riders turned out for a brisk ride to Wisborough Green.
Steve (Henry V) Young, Bruce, Mike Conway, Roland K, Adam (who also did an off road ride and swim before this!) Stuart, Chris, Andy Ramsay, looking fit from La Marmotte, a wonderful ex-Clarencourt rider who kept us amused and a new face, Dave, on his first Club Ride, who did extremly well, considering the pace (ahem, I blame the others!)

Ride what you like to the social...

Friday evening is the Club Social at the Dog and Duck, Outwood. Anytime from 7pm I'll be handing out secret instructions for a short handicap ride (based on age, nobbly/smooth tyres and number of wheels) with prizes. Back to the pub for a drink and a chat about Redhill's BIG weekend: TRAIL BREAK.

And what do YOU want in future social's? I was pondering PAINTBALL (a great leveller, regardless of age/sex) or perhaps go-karting. Both have a fitness element! And/or talks by top cycle coaches, fitness and nutrition experts.
