Tim is now back at the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, following a shock late night transfer yesterday.

He is in Leigh Ward and visiting times are from 2pm to 8pm each day.

Tim no longer has access to email and the web, but the food is apparently better !

He has been told that it will be 3 months before he can put any weight on the hip, but he is hoping to get onto crutches shortly.

If you are planning to visit, give him a call on his mobile (which is okay for him to use in hospital) 07811 116950

Club Social at Dog and Duck, Outwood

The first social with me as new Social Secretary...I hope that doesn't mean I have to buy the drinks! Main topics of conversation will be A) how best to nurture new members and B) how to make the most of the Trail Break Weekend, starting the day after...firstly, don't get drunk! A small competition from the Dog and Duck: a 5 mile out and back 'treasure hunt' - mystery handicap. Prizes include a 5 CD set of Nelson Mandela speeches, a bottle of Jade Goody's perfume (interestingly called Shh...) and a brand new copy of Michael Winner's 'Fat Pig Diet'.

More PB's at 10 mile Time Trial

A very happy Richard Bailey set a new Personal Best at Round 9 of the club's TT; 26.44 on a three wheels is amazing, that equates to 16m30 if he'd only had two wheels! Here he is going round the bend.

Trevor Chilman quietly celebrated a new PB, 22.33, sights set on Jon Masters, absent on this perfect evening. Leigh Smithers was second, Steve White third. Full results in the usual place but in a new format, thanks to Andrew.

I need to check back but I think Denis Worster did a PB too. I did...26.24, getting better each week!
