A perfect Sunday Club Ride

Some fit looking riders turned out for a brisk ride to Wisborough Green.
Steve (Henry V) Young, Bruce, Mike Conway, Roland K, Adam (who also did an off road ride and swim before this!) Stuart, Chris, Andy Ramsay, looking fit from La Marmotte, a wonderful ex-Clarencourt rider who kept us amused and a new face, Dave, on his first Club Ride, who did extremly well, considering the pace (ahem, I blame the others!)

The weather was perfect and Steve kept us amused by reciting the WHOLE of Shakespeare's Henry V speech at Agincourt, modified as a pep talk for riders in the Race Across America; seriously, it's good! He'll be performing it again soon at a social.

We had a wonderful tea stop at Penelope's then Bruce saved me again with a delightful route home but we were a bit bothered by a hundred MG's on a collector's car weekend, all in a hurry.

NEWS was coming in as we were en route of our intrepid riders in France, the bulk of the usual Sunday riders, having a good time and on target.

Saturday's ride was a bit quiet, just me and Brian Costello, but very enjoyable!
