Garmin smart notifications
Smart notifications are where the Garmin device tells you if you have missed a call or text. Has anyone got this working? It won't work for me and, looking at forums on the internet, it seems I am not alone.

Hi there
I'm providing support for the RCC group cycling to Mont St Michel and back on 19 to 22 May. I have some equipment but would like to borrow more. A decent sized picnic table, plastic bowls, cups and any cutlary. Happy to pick up and return.

Some DI2 changes just out inc automatic shifting!
I'm want to get winter tyres for my Trek road bike. Not cheap and chearful, but not stupidly expensive. Any suggestions?
Hi All
If anyone is keen to get a good bike lock like the one Philip Gibson has....lightweight, small and has an alarm.....this is the place to go.....if you order more than 4 at a time, the shipping is free and it's cheaper than the Seton site where I asked for a discount and they weren't willing to give one.

I just placed an order and waiting for delivery.
I am interested in other club members veiws on saddle selection as i am thinking of changing my Fizik Airone on both my Cannondales.
Although the one on my red Cannondale is 6 years old now and well worn in, i still get numbness and pain after 70 miles.
So with Chase The Sun looming i am after something along the lines of my armchair comfort.
Any recomendations ?
Just received my SM-PCE1 from Shimano. The computer interface unit that your LBS uses to diagnose problems with Di2. But it allows the new Di2 firmware to be installed onto your bike. Changes worth noting are now that you can change the speed of the front/rear derailleur gear change from ultra fast, fast, normal, slow, very slow and also enable multi-shift which can be set to a set number of gears or the complete cassette and is activated when holding down the shifter for more than a brief press. e.g.
I went out riding today with a Garmin Edge 500 and an iphone both tracking my ride.
Here's the results from the Garmin:

I picked up a bike bag in a sale yesterday - don't need one at the moment, but maybe someone else does in the club, bearing in mind the Majorca jolly. If anyone would like to borrow for the price of a bag of jelly babies/ tea at the next tea stop, get in touch. It's just a strong PVC/nylon job but should be ok with a bit of padding. Also I picked up 2 wheel bags...

Hi all. Has anyone got a looooong drill bit for metal I can borrow? I'm not sure whether they are even made.....
I need a bit approx 250-300mm long, 5 or 6mm wide. It's to drill out a seized screw inside the steerer tube of my "Moulton" project.
Or if anyone knows where I can buy one please let me know.
Cheers
Roy
