A group ride for RCC folk using Billy Weir's 'Down to Downs' route.
This is a 'Permanent' route that can be ridden by individuals at any time, but intended here to be a group ride as an introduction to this style of event.
Riders should enter by following directions here http://www.aukweb.net/perms/detail/WW07/ and here http://www.aukweb.net/perms/entryform/. Billy will send you a route sheet in advance in one of your SAEs. Brevet cards might be posted or handed out on the day depending on numbers.
Guide pace G2 - G3 ish, but this route takes in 9 significant hills the first two being of the challenging variety. There are over seven hours to get round, so fairly relaxed with opportunities for refreshments. 09:00 DEFINITE start time FROM BARCLAYS BANK, HIGH STREET.
