Just one intriguing aspect of Audax is a year-long season which starts at midnight on 01-11-xx - just in time for the worst of the winter weather! And so greetings and funny hand-shakes to all afflicted or secretly curious and best wishes for a prolific and enjoyable long distance 2012.
Hushed voices in various bunches over recent weeks have whispered of past adventures and future aspirations. Billy has almost thrown down his (possibly slightly sweaty) gauntlet and declared 'suspicions' of a 'big year' ahead. I am not sure whether to strive for further or faster or higher.
In the near future it looks like four RCC on the 100km from Billingshurst on 27-11-11 and at least two for mince pies and 100km on 18-12-11 from Newlands Corner. (unless clashing with Xmas lunch?)
