Just come back from night ride - sorry to report that Smokers Hill ( the lovely bit of single track that goes from Walton to Epson Downs) has been widened and smoothed out - it is now like a motorway. This trail was named best bit of singletrack within the M25 last year by What Mountain Bike - no longer. Only bit of good news is, that so far they have only got half way down - better go and ride it quick before they ruin it all the way to the bottom.
