Colin (and everyone),
Thanks for the ride on Saturday. I don't think I've ever been on a ride with that many roots and thin wet sticky winding paths. And that field at Farleigh! Treacle is easier to ride though!
Though I managed to keep up and apart from the odd puddle didn't get wet.

For those unawares all the decent trails in Swinley will soon be out of bounds, with one big 'safe' loop left, so what was excellent an excellent st location is now basically center parcs -
Dear Swinley Forest Cyclist
Thanks to the work of Damian at C&N, we're ready to make a new order of Mtb colour club jerseys. They're in the same design as the last ones, but we've switched suppliers to the same as the current crop of road jerseys. As a result they will be just 35 pounds!
Further details-
Club fit (slightly more relaxed than race fit)
3/4 zip
Men's and women's sizing
We were previously informed that it would not be possible to ride the Olympic MTB course at Hadley Farm, until after many of the best features had been removed for safety reasons.
However, good news, it has now been announced that the trail is to be opened up for guided rides, before the adaptations to the trails have been completed.
Only sufficently competent MTB'ers will be allowed to join the guided rides, and their definition of a sufficiently competent MTB'er is someone who has ridden a black-graded trail before at a UK trail centre.
Folks, anyone else doing this one ? I've signed up for the longer one and will be riding there from hone in Epsom, making this a 50 mile ish round trip. Anyone else doing this one ?
Cheers
Anyone interested in some longer miles on the BH monday? I'm thinking about doing a ride from RH, across to Holmbury then dropping down to the Downs Link for the run to Steyning, up onto the South Downs at Truleigh Hill then east past Devils Dyke before dropping down to Brighton.
