So, I've been thinking, which is always a dangerous thing, but I think this time it could have led to something useful. We buy tyres on what we hear, but with little chance to test them ourselves, and yet, as a club, we have a pretty good variety of the things. So, I propose a a tyre 'library'. If you've got tyres that you'd be willing to lend to someone for a week or two to try out (for example, I have a couple of Speed Kings and a Small Block 8 (and a Nevegal once I have something I can swap it out for, I've finished off a few old tyres recently), then stick your name up (don't worry about tyres as yet). If enough people are interested to make it worthwhile then I'll sort out some sort of online thing for keeping track of it. Oh, and it'd operate on a policy of 'you bend it you mend it'. Anyone interested?
