This is a copy of a previous posting, the West Surrey CTC organises this ride and the President of the club Rico Signore (Swiss) is a good mate. Perhaps Redhill could put two groups in for this Audax event club run wallahs, and racing wallahs, in fact off road wallahs might find it to be an interesting training ride? The mileage is c. 75 and the climbing is 2100m which is as good as an Alpine Col. The only challenges are to get around, and to get around in time, I did it OK last year and I am no climber.
The roads are largely lanes and the surface can be rather tricky especially after rain so riding skills are important as well as pace.
