speed bumps on hextall lane
Just a heads up that 3 speed bumps have been installed on Hextall lane near Caterham View. Be careful when ride down as they are very steep.

Andy,
Nice to meet you last week at the Gorrick 12:12 - hope you enjoyed the race. You mentioned some Wednesday evening rides and if I'm around I'd be keen to join but don't have any contact details for you. Can you drop me an email to julian_jordan@outlook.com
Thanks.
Is anyone else doing this one ? I'm planning on riding to and from the start from Epsom, which will make this a nice 50 miles ish.
Cheers

A few guys riding the Garnitzenklamm in Austria. Dont watch if you dont like heights :-)
Seems things have been kicking off on Ranmore, there was an oficial mini downhill event planned, which some people have taken the wrong way and in the process the ranger has trashed two of the existing trails up there. These were the ones on the left heading up Ranmore road from Dorking just pass the tip entrance on the right.
Saying that they were both hardcore trails, i never had ridden either fully, they both had ambulance written all over them :-)

MTB point of view here
Josh Ibbett has set a new unsupported record of 17h 47m which equates to a 11.26 mph avg over the 200miles (not forgetting around 20 000 ft of climbing)!

There are several regular riders who are not able to ride at present though injury, including me.
I suggest that those interested meet up next Saturday morning for coffee and commiserations.
How about Redhill Aerodrome (RH1 5YP) about 10am this coming Saturday the 4th.

In October I did a skills training course with Tony Doyle (www.ukbikeskills.co.uk), which was really good in that he knows how to anaylse what you're doing on the bike, and how to show you what changes to make to improve your riding.
If you'd be interested in doing a "RedhillCC" group session (4-5 hours riding) with him during next spring then reply below. Cost would be £85 each.
Using the things he taught I can just about keep up with Lee on Cwmcarn's downhill trails now, whereas I definitely couldn't before.
