Sunday Steady to Penshurst

Submitted by Jmwig2203 on Tue, 09/01/2020 - 16:54

Despite a chilly start on Sunday ,2 socially distanced groups enjoyed a steady hilly ride through Dormansland, Holtye and the back of Chiddingstone and arrived at Kingdom to bright sunshine, which allowed us to sit outside - to be honest it was warmer outside then inside! Once refuelled we departed to a lightly flatter and faster route back home via Penshurst, Edenbridge and Smallfield giving us the opportunity and excuse to sit on the sofa all afternoon to watch the TDF! Thank you to all that joined the ride and hopefully see you next Sunday!

Take your pick of these routes! To use these as a workable file you need to download the linked file to a laptop. I then email the file to myself and pick it up on my phone where I load it into  Cyclemeter. Alternatively if you use Garmin go direct to www.plotaroute.com and search for "RHCC - Away Day" and you'll be able to download direct to a garmin.

This is a tentative date for our first skills development coaching session at Dunsfold Day. It will be open to all but this first one will be run as a trial with a view to launching a full scale version before we depart to Majorca. We will meet at Dunsfold Park and the session will last the morning. Chance of a pub lunch afterwards if there is demand
