Give your disc equipped roadie a big performance boost! If you haven't used them the shimano hydraulic discs are brilliant and the only reason I'm not currently riding around on this groupset is because I have the mechanical shift equivalent, it's going on a cross bike and I prefer 1x. If it was a 'proper' road bike I'd have put a fair few miles on this already!
I bought a new-to-me (second hand) bike with this on it but as I say, prefer the groupset I have. The bike was apparently built up for a tour of Iceland summer 2016 and saw pretty minimal use after that. Given the condition of the tyres, drivetrain etc I can believe it. I get more wear on most of mine in a few weeks!
It's the R6870 groupset- looks like this but with post mount calipers.
- R785 levers
- Post mount calipers (from my old bike- the new one is mixed flat and post so it seems easier to sell a matched pair. Rear is a deore (MTB) replacement as it was the closest match for looks I could get at the time. Pads and function are indistinguiable, at least to me. Will supply new pads- pretty sure I still have the original fancy pants finned ones.)
- 50-34 crankset, some scuffs on the arm, no BB.
- Front and rear mechs
- 11-32 cassette
- Seat tube battery
- Charger. (works off micro usb lead i.e. standard phone charger)
- Under stem and bottom of seat tube junction boxes. Can look up specific model if needed!
- All the wires that came off the build
- As an extra bonus it includes a climbing shifter.
Looking for £700, local to Redhill. Will be sorting out photos shortly.
