Sophie Colwell of the Challenges charity ahs asked me to post the following:

"Challengers is a charity dedicated to enabling disabled children and young people to have fun, make friends and develop, but we are also striving to change the way communities and the wider world think about 'disability'.
We run a range of exciting and challenging play activities across Surrey with centres in Guildford and Farnham and organise numerous community-based schemes during 'high pressure' times e.g. weekends, after school and during the holidays.
Our services encourage disabled children to challenge their impairments through play, whilst also allowing families to have a short-break to do 'ordinary' activities such as shopping or spending time with their other children.
For more information about Challengers, please visit our website: http://www.disability-challengers.org

The Kelly’s cycle challenge, now in its 4th year is taking place on the
14th of May starting from Alice Holt near Farnham to help raise vital
funds for Challengers.
(There are two distances  - 74 and 54 miles - to enter which take in some great roads somewhat outside our normal range of rides - Rick)

If you or any members of the club would like to take place we would love to
welcome you, we would also be very grateful if you are able to share this
amongst your contacts.  100% of all money – including registration fee will
go directly to Challengers."
