G4 Ride to the Bolney Estate Vineyard

A mixed group of riders today embarked on a gentlish ride south that was meant to take in a new stop at the Twineham Fisheries but instead we discovered a little gem at the Bolney Estate Vineyard. A first floor balcony overlooking the Vineyard is a real must go place on any summers day perhaps making an ideal stop for a Sunday social ride incorporating a light lunch and a glass of the local white wine.  Whilst some items on the menu appeared quite expensive the cake and coffee option was no more than one would expect at any cafe stop. We completed a circa 60 mile route and 2,600 ft of climbing and found some new lanes to boot. Many thanks to Stuart Bunt, Irene L (who showed great fortitude in deciding not to give up) Genina, Chris Stone, Pete T, Alex L, Steve T, Richard N, Matthew B, and Kevin J.
