A great day's cycling for all comers in perfect weather. Racers Rupert Burbidge and Stuart Greig joined us for the club ride to Camelia Botnar.
To keep them and the other strong riders occupied, we had the odd sprint and 'first to the top' at Tower Hill, earning Ev Quistorff tea-on-me! Unfortunately, Rory had gear trouble and had to retire. Jim and Jacquie had a good ride then headed for home before the tea stop.
We had quick cuppa in glorious sunshine and then we were off for a fast ride home. Dominic Clegg and John Houghton had no problem keeping up the pace all the way back.
My computer read 44 miles at 17.1. Rupert and some others had ridden to/from The Angel, well done!
