How about a 72 hour round trip to Le Mans using the Portsmouth-Caen route? The trip will take place 20 – 23 May 2016 with itinerary as follows:
Friday afternoon cycle to Portsmouth @68 miles.
Friday evening Dinner in Portsmouth.
Ferry Portsmouth – Caen – Portsmouth with twin cabins there and back.
Saturday 100 - 130 miles including a lap of the Le Mans 24 hour road circuit.
Saturday evening Hotel and dinner in the vicinity of Le Mans.
Sunday 100 – 130 miles return to Caen. The difference in mileage for Saturday/Sunday depends on which day we cycle round the circuit and where the hotel is.
Sunday evening Dinner in Caen.
Monday morning cycle to Reigate @68 miles.
Cost will be £300 (per cyclist) to cover support (van, crew, pit stops), ferry, hotel, evening meals.
Only a few places available as most participants from the Paris Raid have already signed up. This will suit G4's upwards in a group of 20 cyclists.
