3. A.70th Anniversary BBQ
There are issues with using the Surrey Oaks,Adrian is to send a letter explaining the
decision. The Jolly Farmers at Horne and the Dog and Duck will be approached to see
what they are able to offer.
B.Police and local reaction to road races
Adrian has been in touch with pc Hamblyn about complaints from local residents,mostly
in the Newdigate area. Adrian has suggested arranging a forum consisting of local
residents,cyling clubs and the police to at least air the problems.
C.Marshaling requirements for road races and TTs
The next road race is 9th August, once again the marshaling requirements are
problematical,
4.Surrey sports awards
The club has paid £250 in sponsorship.It was decided to put John Eglinton's name
forward for volunteer of the year.

Rick has indicated he will lay on an away weekend to Rutland in September

A September trip to Dartmoor is planned,and the Big Dog is imminent.
12. Racing secretary’s report
Phil Jemmison has kindly agreed to take racing events on for the moment.
31. Time Trial Secretary’s report
Numbers have been down with about 50/50 members and guests taking part, the
interclub competition with Norwood Paragon is coming up.
14.AOB Matthew Sturmer to go on Leaders list

Justin Lariviere took 12th place in his second race
There was not enough time to discuss the young persons policy composed by
Rick. Graham pointed out we need to integrate more fully with the Raiders
It should be possible to find events where boths groups can take part, a
Raiders newsletter was suggested.This item will be top of the agenda at the
next meeting
