The ride is 10th August 2014. You can only take part if you have a place allocated.
A number of people are going up to London the night before and staying over close to the Olympic park for the event. Last year, we booked tables at La Forchetta - a very good, reasonably priced Italian in Bethnal Green. It is 2 minutes from Bethnal Green Travelodge and perfect to get that last pasta load in before the ride on 10th August!

Second, we have organised again for Duncan Reeve to meet riders after the ride close to Waterloo. Duncan will have a van and can carry bags up to London, so on arrival you can change in the van, load your bike and head to the station to get a train home. Bikes will then be available for collection from my house that evening.
The cost will be around £7 each to cover van rental and Duncan's time.
Again, please let me know (in comments below or by email).
We make this arrangement because bikes will be forbidden on all public transport that day as per last year.
