Many of your members will have used Pixham Lane when cycling in the
Dorking/Box Hill area. Our Residents Association is pressing for a 20mph
speed limit to be imposed in at least the narrowest part of the Lane, to
reduce the danger to cyclists and pedestrians from the heavy and often fast
moving traffic. I'm sure that many of your members would support this move.
If so we'd appreciate their signature on the online petition just started at
the Surrey CC website - http://petitions.surreycc.gov.uk/Pixham20/
We already have over 100 signatures on our petition forms, but more support
would be very welcome.
