Same as Edge 800 but now includes:-
1. Live bluetooth link to iPhone/Android mobile. This allows auto posts updates every 30 seconds to twitter/facebook/email. Recipient does not need a Garmin account can click link and see where you are on the map and how hard your trying (av speed, climb info etc.... sent as well) REAL TIME.

2. Weather updates sent to Garmin showing next 3 hour intervals. Shows wind speed direction and temp. (bit of a gimmick really because the monitoring station probably be 30 miles away!)
3. Bike profiles can be sub-divided now e.g. Road Bike - Turbo, Road Bike - Road etc...
