I had to post this in tribute to Sharon, Rachel, Liz, John, Richard, Rick (and me) as the hardest ride I have done since I started cycling 3 years ago!
It was cold, windy and bl**dy hilly (7000 feet) and 83 punsishing miles!
John and Richard stormed off to finish in 3rd whilst me, Liz and Rachel took it easy and finsihed!! - and I can only thank the 2 of them for keeping me going.
Sharon and Rick kept each other company throughout and we all made it to the end suitably shattered but pleased to complete an amazingly challenging route for a hugely worthwhile cause!
