I went out this morning on a spur of the moment ride with a friend ( non club member) and unfortunately he had a catastrophic blow- out which split the tyre. Whilst at the side of the road, a Redhill jersey came by (up a hill) and kindly asked if we were ok. I don't know who it was, but it's great PR for the club when that happens - I was in an anonymous wind top so could have been anyone to the rider. Then a couple of hours later, the unmistakeable sound of a bike passing me brought a friendly "morning", and surprise surprise it was another Redhill shirt.
