Circumstances dictate that I am confined to Surrey & Sussex over w/e 13&14 August, instead of grimping in the Welsh mountains. Instead I am planning to make the most of the full moon on Saturday 13th for a moderately paced night road ride along the lines of the famous 'Fnrttc' (Google) series. That is to say Midnight start at The Angel, better sorts of lanes, 24 hr Cafe stop(s), see dawn on the Downs and on to the seaside for breakfast and maybe a snooze before pottering home.
A group of four plus would make this viable - go on - you know you want to!
