I have booked 12 twin rooms in the Hotel Meurice in Calais for the nights Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September, 2011. The cost for the two nights, half-board, sharing a room, will be about £120 (depending on the exchange rate). Members will be responsible for organising their own transport.
The programme is: Friday evening, arrive Calais; Saturday, cycle to Montreuil, return via Boulogne; Sunday, cycle to Poperinge returning via Mont Cassel, return home in the evening.
The rides will be about 90 miles each but hope to arrange some shorter (60 mile) rides.
A non-returnable deposit of £60 payable to M. G. Ormerod will secure a place.
