Not really.
Any club member can now add a calendar event, news article, image.
The proviso is that items will sit in a 'awaiting approval' area until they are approved by a 'moderator'.
Go to the 'Members' tab and you will see the menu options to add content.
Please coordinate amongst yourselves who is going to write a report for a ride.
