Track training sessions for your info

As a warm-up for the 2008 Herne Hill track season, VC Londres are running 3 free training sessions on Monday evenings, on 14, 21 & 28 April aimed at riders with some track experience aiming to race in the weekly track league events. These events were popular in 2007 amongst all ages & abilities.

There will be opportunities for riders to get some training races in, with novice racers supported by qualified coaches & experienced riders. Although these are training sessions, with the aim of teaching people how to race, experienced riders are also invited to come along for a free training session to demonstrate to newcomers how events work. The track will be open from 18.00 for unstructured warm up and we aim to start 'racing' at 18.30. A British Cycling licence is not required & hire bikes are available.

In addition, don't forget Saturday morning training sessions for novices at 09.00 & experienced riders at 10.30, Tuesday evening road bike sessions, Wednesday evening derny training for BC licence holders, & on Friday evenings, VCL youth track training sessions.
