As the nights draw in earlier, Garry will lead a ride from the Inn on the Pond at 6.30pm. Lights are required to see the trails from about 7.30 so bring your lights to make it to the finish.

Beginners / Intermediates ROAD ride

Starting at The Angel as usual. The purpose of these rides is to help new people and we ride AT THEIR SPEED in quiet lanes but anything from 20 to 40 miles. Plenty of opportunity for stronger riders to attack hills! But I'll be taking it a little easy as I've been recovering and tomorrow is the Petersfield Sportive.

In accordance with the 'Ride Safety' published on this site, The Highway Code, the CTT etc, bright clothing and helmets are recommended, I also advise gloves/mitts. Please drop me a line to confirm you're coming. Thanks.

Sunshine at last!

Sunshine and clear blue skies greeted us for the Saturday ride; the perfect conditions were a welcome change from weeks of rain.

Two new faces, Simon and Chris seemed to be enjoying themselves and even Nick Curran didn't complain too much about the speed, route or hills but focussed his ire this time on the choice of Tulley's tea stop; some people are never satisfied.

Brian headed off early, saving his legs for Sunday's Sportive. Chris put in a brave performance on a mountain bike and detoured to see relatives at Turners Hill.

Club Social at Reigate Rugby Club

A spectacular evening of eye popping presentations by Steve Young, who cycled across the USA in the 'RAAM', raising almost £90,000 for charity. Richard Sterry on how to ride 100 gruelling miles on the South Downs Way. Geoff Clifton will makes your knees tremble with tales from La Marmotte and Paris-Roubaix. And Graham Haysom for whom the Red to Med wasn't enough...went to Spain as well and then cycled back! What great people! What a great club! Don't miss this social!
