Now we're going places...

A fantastic turnout of established and new riders on this perfect, sunny day!

Now we are ready to split the Saturday ride into two speeds; we had a little difficulty catering for the fit, fast, young ones and those who prefer something a little less competitive.

Ooops, we did lose a couple of people. Rule No 1, keep an eye on the lead group, we won't leave you, just don't turn off and hot shots, Rule No 2, WAIT at junctions unless you are sure of the way!

But we all made it to Tulley's and had some great sprints on the way back.

Join us for a ride to the RSPB cafe between Storrington and Pulborough. A round trip of about 70 miles at an average speed of 15mph and back by 15.00. As usual riders who want a shorter ride may turn back at any time and riders feeling frisky may put the mhammer down on the return journey if they know the way. Join us for a sociable ride in good company at a sporty pace.

Starting at The Angel as usual. The purpose of these rides is to welcome new people and we ride at their speed in quiet lanes but anything from 20 to 40 miles. Plenty of opportunity for stronger riders to sprint and attack hills!

In accordance with the 'Ride Safety' published on this site, The Highway Code, the CTT etc, bright clothing and helmets are recommended, I also advise gloves/mitts.

Please drop me a line to confirm you're coming, particularly if you are new to the club! Thanks.
