Jim led a great ride out West to Ranmore Common on a cool but beautiful Sunday morning.
Six of us, including Jacquie, Bruce, Andy and Stuart managed to stick together up that long, long climb to the Common.
We saw a lot of riders out on this perfect cycling day; we must get them to join Redhill!
I've been a bit absent from club rides lately, avoiding cold mornings but sneaking out later on my own. Coward!
I had to leave this ride early for a lunch, the rest of the team sped off for more lovely miles, downhill all the way I hope! See you next weekend.
Anyone know if this is happening...usually around 09/02...provisional CTT events does not show...

Turn up at the Angel at 9.00 for a scenic club ride of about 50 miles at an average speed of about 15mph. Find out where Jim will take you for the tea stop and discover the delights of riding with a very sociable group.
Meet Mark at The Angel at 9.00 for a sociable ride at a steady pace. Expect to be back by 13.00 after some good miles and a tea stop.
Big thanks to Marcus Brueton who spoke at length to 20 aspiring and established road racing and time trialling competitors at The Friends Meeting House on Friday 9th Jan.
His talk covered getting BC membership and racing licence and all of the associated paperwork/entry forms that are necessary to sort with the various clubs and organisations before even getting to the start line – but followed this by looking at all aspects of personal and bike preparation, as well as race psychology and tactics.
Sat 24/1/09 Faster Group Ride. Usual meeting time and place (The Angel, Woodhatch at 0900) then a steady ride for one and a half hours , getting quicker towards the end so that we are fully warmed up and ready when we rendezvous at Parkgate with some riders from Norwood Paragon.
