Paul Read made his debut in this year's time trial series with an impressive win in Round 7, held on Wednesday 15 June. Read, who is Redhill's current 50m champion, finished in 0:22:42, more than 2 minutes ahead of second placed Redhill rider Andrew Murray.
In the handicap competition, Mike Conway picked up the maximum ten points by beating his previous personal best by 21 seconds. He now moves into third place overall, behind André Roux and Steve White.

Club TT - Round 6 (Horsham)
Claude L'Homme was the fastest Redhill rider in Round 6 of the club's time trial series on Wednesday 8 June. Finishing in a time of 24:09, the Frenchman beat last week's winner Richard Sanders by a big margin of 46 seconds. The result was all the more remarkable considering it was L'Homme's first outing on the Horsham dual-carriageway course.
Third placed Andrew Murray picked up maximum points in the handicap competition by beating his previous best time by 1 minute. L'Homme and Andre Roux are now neck and neck in the overall handicap competition.

Following his success in taking the lead in Redhill Cycling Club’s Time Trial Championship, Claude Lhomme took a scorching fourth place out of a field of over 50 riders in the Surrey league Category 4 road race at Goodwood last Sunday.
