Club TT - Round 6 (Horsham)

Claude L'Homme was the fastest Redhill rider in Round 6 of the club's time trial series on Wednesday 8 June. Finishing in a time of 24:09, the Frenchman beat last week's winner Richard Sanders by a big margin of 46 seconds. The result was all the more remarkable considering it was L'Homme's first outing on the Horsham dual-carriageway course.

Third placed Andrew Murray picked up maximum points in the handicap competition by beating his previous best time by 1 minute. L'Homme and Andre Roux are now neck and neck in the overall handicap competition.

Conditions could not have been better for riders to hope to set new personal bests. The warm and still evening also attracted a large number of riders from other clubs, including 21st Century Airports, 34 Nomads and Crawley CC.
