Mark lead 17 riders from Reigate Hill Car Park on a dry, overcast day. He took us over Walton Heath to Headley Heath, where he had worked out a cunning new route. While going up and down, it avoided the steepest climbs, eventually bring us out on Mill Way opposite Tumber Lane. A short way along the lane, a bridle path on the left links up with the path onto Mickleham Downs.

Despite the back of the group becoming occasionally detached from the rest, it was a very enjoyable ride in cold but sunny conditions. I have not attached Micks GPS profile and map of the ride to this report as it is a large file but you will be able to access it on our web site together with a copy of the ride report.

This coming Saturdays ride is at 9.30 from Reigate Hill and will be led by Gareth.

Six of us gathered at Reigate hill Car park in slight fog and fine drizzle, Mick, Xavier, Paul, Peter, Terry and myself. Numbers were down no doubt due to the Evans Trailbreak ride at Ockley. We set off over the bridge and on to Colley Hill and then turned right over the motorway bridge,then through Mogador and across Walton Heath Golf Course. After crossing the Dorking road we did the usual route up Tye Lane and towards the Car Park at Headley. We then did a sort of zig zag route across Headley Heath to Tumber Street and along to Langley Lane.
