Its like coming in from the cold...In terms of the Sports Personality Awards Nicole Cooke laid the foundations last year in the wider publics view, before what has been quite an astonishing recognition for Chris Hoy, in particular, and cycling in general this year. Was it just me who felt a tad emotional watching events last night. Maybe you know this quote but I've read it for the first time this morning. Chris Hoy was asked after his Olympic success "What does Chris Hoy think of Chris Hoy?". He replied, "Chris Hoy thinks that the day Chris Hoy refers to Chris Hoy in the third person is the day Chris Hoy disappears up his own ar*e." Carry on the good work all you at British Cycling...
