Off Road general (inc questions)

Everyone, just a little forewarning. There may be a little bit of a challenge coming up to see how everyones riding is waking up after the winter, and it's going to be suitable for climbing whippets, downhill demons, and everyone in-between.

To take part you'll need to use Strava- if you have a smartphone it's easy as pie, just download the app. You can also sign up here if you prefer to use a GPS and upload manually-http://app.strava.com/dashboard

Gorrick XC race at crowthorne woods ( pretty much Swinley forest ) on 13 th Nov ? Anyone ?..... I have done a few Gorrick events and they are well organised and the courses are about 70% singletrack. See y'all there.....

Just come back from night ride - sorry to report that Smokers Hill ( the lovely bit of single track that goes from Walton to Epson Downs) has been widened and smoothed out - it is now like a motorway. This trail was named best bit of singletrack within the M25 last year by What Mountain Bike - no longer. Only bit of good news is, that so far they have only got half way down - better go and ride it quick before they ruin it all the way to the bottom.

Does anybody want to join me for a day trip to Cwn Carn on Saturday 12th Feb?

The idea is to get there soon after 11am and ride the XC trail. There will be enough sunlight to do it twice and have a lunch break.
