Goodwood this Sunday Aug 23rd
So which Cat 3's are racing at Goodwood this Sunday then?
We have quite a few Cat 4's in the earlier race which is good!
Rupert.

Just seen the result......has Rupert purchased some kind of rocket or did he have red underpants over the top of his blue skinsuit!
It looks like I'll be giving this Sundays race at Goodwood a miss after bouncing off a pedestrian on Wednesday. I was amazed as he was only small but very solid. The only damage I did to him was marking his polyester trousers!
However I'm looking more like a plum than a racing cyclist so my return to racing will be on hold for a while. All the best to Trevor, Leigh and Jon. Attack with one and half laps to go and the win will be yours.

...and David Motton in Cycling Monthly again for March.

Good news everyone.
Tim was discharged from hosiptal last night and is now back at home !
I expect he will be putting in an appearance on the website just as soon as he has sorted out a comfortable chair !
If you are planning to visit, give him a quick call first on 07811 116950

Tim is now back at the East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, following a shock late night transfer yesterday.
He is in Leigh Ward and visiting times are from 2pm to 8pm each day.
Tim no longer has access to email and the web, but the food is apparently better !
He has been told that it will be 3 months before he can put any weight on the hip, but he is hoping to get onto crutches shortly.
If you are planning to visit, give him a call on his mobile (which is okay for him to use in hospital) 07811 116950

Tim has now moved to the St Georges Hospital Tooting (see below)
I have a new tel.no 07040 36 5252 and am att. George's Hospital, Holdsworth Ward, 5th Floor, St. James's wing.
He was due to have an operation today, but at the weekend was unsure if that would still go ahead, as he has been suffering from a fever and still hasn't really had a proper consultation yet with the surgeons at Tooting.
Give him a call or email him on his home email address.
Richard
