Over the last couple of months the club has been using a smartphone app to conduct its 'operational' business i.e., advertising club rides, events and news. We think we may be the first club in the UK to have adopted this approach and so far it has gone down really well with our members. It provides a more convenient and easier means of communication, keeping everyone in the loop as to what is going on. As Chairman (as any of the administrators can too) it is possible to get a message across instantly to everyone who has the app.
If you are interested in finding out more about the app and how we use it you are free to download it from the App Store or Google Play. As a non-member of RCC you will be able to see all the public information we publish (though there is a lot that is specific to the club that is only available to members) but it will give you a good feel as to the sort of club we are. To download the app search for Piota - Deeper Engagement. Once downloaded enter Redhill Cycling Club in the search box. If you are not a member of RCC don't bother trying to register your device with us (which you'd otherwise do by tapping on the padlock icon) but please feel welcomed as an unseen observer!
