The garden needed it ... we didn't

It was raining hard at the Drome. To my dismay, four other idiots, I mean  hardy cyclists, turned up. It didn't take long to agree that we would skip the planned ride over Leith and Box Hills and opt for a shorter ride to the Milk Churn.

Having collected Geoff at Newdigate, we made good time to Rudgwick, the weather improving as we rode. We decided to carry on to the Old Mill Cafe at Wisborough Green via the delightfully named Drungewick Lane. After bacon ciabbatas all round, we returned via Bashurst Hill and Warnham. By the time I reached Redhill, it looked a nice sunny day for a bike ride!
