A sunny poodle down to Four Elms

Gawd bless a sunny morning when friends can suck in cool air while taking on a rare Vitamin D hit. This select little group found itself lucky enough when all other Gs had departed to take the road less travelled to Four Elms.

Mike O suggested a reverse type route heading up Coopers Hill before a descent and rise up Tilburstow Hill. Thence through the flatlands to Hurst Green and Pootings with the reward of hot tea and chatter at Chartwell Barns. Frank joined us for most of the outward leg as he regains strength while all others gobbled up hills and miles with a new year hunger.
The title? Well after the tea stop a lady approached the peloton with a gorgeous dog enjoying a lead walk. Mike shouted 'poodle down' and the theme was struck. Beautiful morning with near 1800ft of climbing and easy sunny riding.
