Nice one to Newlands

12 of us set off via the A24 cycle track, then up & around Norbury Park and across to Polesden Lacey. Although the recent east winds had started to dry up the ground there were still some poorly drained areas with huge puddles of unknown depth where some of the group took the gamble of keeping dry feet.....
Up the flint track to the Drove road & then almost level to Newlands Corner. Back again along the Drove road and then the Ranmore road to avoid the adjacent sticky mud &bogs - it will be a while yet before they dry out..... Then down through Denbies to Rykas.Total distance 22.7 miles.
