Sunshine and Smiles

With hot October sunshine predicted all day long, today's ride was always going to be one to remember. I arrived at the top Reigate Hill to find 17 riders eager to get out on the trails, including newcomers Matt, Moji and Holly.

We set off towards Box Hill via Headley Heath, Phil C doing a good job of keeping the group together at the back.

Mark managaed to pick up a puncture when climbing up towards High Ashurst, and gave us all a breather before we took on the descent down to Lodgebottom Road.

Box Hill was as busy as I'd ever seen it, the ladies in the tea stop doing their best but Mark giving up on any chance of getting a cup of tea after seeing the queue.

We took China Pig back down from Box Hill, smiles all round as everyone weaved their way down the long and twisty singletrack.

Mark managed to get another puncture and the main group pushed on for home, getting back to the car park just before 1pm.
