Jon Masters domination of the 2008 Time Trial Series continued on a windswept night on the G10/57 course.
With a strong and gusting wind coming from the south west, all 14 riders blasted up to the turn at the Dewbush roundabout in Crawley and then turned for the more taxing leg back to the finish at Horsham.
Despite the conditions Jon set a seasons best for the course in 22:21, putting over half a minute into Trtevor Chilman who was second with 22:57. The podium was completed by Steve White with 23:21, pipping Leigh Smithers for third by just two seconds.
The honours in the handicap event went to Rory Dawson who slashed nearly two minutes off his handicap time. Russell Hicks and Peter King were second and third respectively.
