Lee's Ride from Westcott

An eager 17 riders turned up at Westcott for the start of the ride. After much debate on how many layers to wear we all set off up Wolvans Lane to the start of Summer lightning. We all completed the trail, with no problems. It was great to see Adam back in the saddle after his injury enjoying his singletrack.

We then all set off for Leith hill tower, picking up Darren Williams on the way. A few members completed the very technical climb to the top without stopping. An excellient achievement considering the wet conditions.

From Leith hill we decended to Upfolds farm, an excellient piece of singletrack although very muddy in parts.

From here we climbed to Radnor road to the start of "barry knows best" trail. After a short pep talk on the best way of completing the trail alive we all set off. It was great to see every rider attempting this very technical single track and gave us much to talk about at the Peaslake tea stop.

From Peaslake we headed directly back to Westcott, the Rad lane decent proving very exciting due to the leaf fall cover.
