Garry finds a muddy trail again!

I was encouraged to see eighteen or so riders for my ride over to Oxted as the weather the previous night had been appalling. Off we set straight up towards Tilburstow Hill taking in some new routes I had found through the woods leading onto the Greensand Way.

The good thing about the ride over to Oxted is the majority of the route is off road with the trails being fairly well drained. This seemed to keep things going until we started the climb up Tandridge Hill towards Woldingham. I knew this would be a tad muddy but this was an understatement as we started to climb, the trail then becoming unridable. The push up was to say the least very hard but still a good workout all the same.

Tea at Woldingham was a welcome stop, but I soon put a stop to that and made the start for the return leg. Along the N21 and back over Gravelly Hill towards the start.

Cameraman Phil was our only puncture of the day so he told us to push on as time was getting on near the ride end.
