Last visit to Cafe 1809?

Janine led the Sunday Steady to Cafe 1809 at Hildenborough for possibly the RCC's last visit.. The cafe is owned by Dame Kelly Holmes. The name is derived from her running number from the 2004 Athens Olympic Games where she won her two gold medals. She has recently announced that the cafe will close on 25th November. t will be opening again but as a different venture, providing space and a place for events, pop ups, community gatherings and more.

We are sorry to lose a cycle-friendly venue but wish the new iniitative all success.
