Camellia Botnar does not disappoint

Seven riders opted for the G3/G2 ride to Calmellia Botnar. We took a familiar route through Charlwood, Lambs Green and Wimlands to cross the A264 on foot. After skirting around Horsham, we followed the sign to Doomsday Green turning into Doomsday Lane and then through Copsale and Maplehurst to our stop.

Camellia Botnar combines a garden centre, a showroom for the furniture built by apprentices from the Camellia Botnar Foundation and an excellent cafe. The restaurant was full but fortunately there was plenty of room in the garden where we were served drinks and assorted snacks in record time.

The return route took us up to Lower Beeding, the Hammer Ponds, Grouse Road, Copsale and Rusper.

Nothing of note to report - no flats, no mechanicals, no untoward incidents. Just a good ride in the sun in good company.
