Big Turnout for a Perfect Sunday Ride!

Twenty keen riders turned up for the Sunday ride, including most of those who rode in Saturday's Epsom Downs trip.

Frank had brought his cameras for some brochure shots and insisted we all smile, not easy when you're straining uphill.

Then he and Nick had the cheek to find a shortcut to Tulley's so when we arrived, they were on their 3rd cream bun.

Rory, Bruce and Mark burned up the hills but even the slower riders weren't far behind.

Looked to me as if everyone had a great day...a fast 43 miles!

Ten go boldly forth...

Ten victims turned up for the Intermediate ride, all keen and very cheerful! Russell was supposed to be leading but Nick Curran had other ideas, Epsom Downs tea stop became the target...but it was closed! Anyway, Walton on the Hill was more civilised - it had table and chairs.

An easy 27 miles, a bit stop start and Brian had a puncture. A new face on this ride, Sarah Reynolds, very quick on a hybrid MTB...training for the Red to the Med, as are Alan and Nick. Where are the other Red to Med riders? Hope you are getting the miles in, it's a long way!

Setting out from Reigate Heath, we will cover some off road sections, however most of the ride will be road based, covering about 10-12 miles. This will enable us to get a good work out before the main ride at 9.30 in Leigh.
