Mid-August means one thing on the MTB circuit - Brighton Big Dog. Now in its 10th year, the race as ever saw a good turn out from RCC MTB with a group of 14 of us taking part covering a range of categories including mixed pairs, male pairs and a couple of OneDer Dogs.
Big Dog is back!
80 km ride to the Milk Churn at Rudgwick to celebrate my 80th birthday. From the Drome, out via Mole street; return via Rowhook, Warnham and Rusper. Finish at the Everest Spice restaurant, Cromwell Road, Redhill. Everyone is invited to join me in a glass of bubbly and some nibbles. Some of you are invited to stay on for a BBQ; unfortunately can't invite everone.
Easy paced ride to Teapot Island at Yalding.
One of Philip's epic rides. Rochester 86m and 4,400 feet of climbing, Drome to Drome. Tea stop by Rochester Castle.
Mark will be leading the 8am ride, pace 16mph+ ave out for an earlier return to base and (given the forecast as at Monday) in time to beat any rain.
