HOT and SUNNY to Ockham Common.

We were 12 as we left Ryka's for a jaunt around local byways.A puncture within 100 yards and a

cheeky climb up to Norbury Park within 2 miles settled us in. Onward, passing Polesdon Lacy and a

descent to Little Bookham, from the rear of the group it was delightful to see the sunbeams cutting

though the dust cloud created by those in front.

Easy miles now though to the Chatterly Heath semaphore tower and a pause for a picture before rolling

down previously undiscovered single track to the cafe. A longer return route awaited us and we pressed onward though

West Horsley and Netley Heath where the faster people split off for a mystery tour back.

Along the top of White Down it had to be noted that the large puddles that normally live on this track were absent.

Dry and dusty rules.

Upon return to Ryka's we met up with some of the 'faster people' who had taken a more roundabout route following a possible misunderstanding.

Dry and Dusty, hot and sunny, a great ride.

Many thanks to Fran for leading the ride.
