Slush Puppies

It was with an um and an ah that I decided to rearrange from Rykas to Reigate Hill. Originally to keep things local with the snow, we were equally glad to be on more North facing slopes than Ranmore as things started to melt!

We had a goodly amount of snow left as we gathered at Reigate Hill but the rate of jacket removal indicated the temperature and the unlikelihood of it staying around for too long. The ride ended up being made up on the hoof a little, but we saw slushy trails, untouched snow (that we promptly rode through), meltwater puddles (ditto) and plenty of very slippery roots before retreating to Geoffs because we can always rely on him to be open.

Sad to see the snow had all but gone by the time we got back, but nice to see the daffodils back out again as a result.
